If you have ever wanted to paint but didn't where to start then come and join us at Blakemere Craft Centre the perfect place to create your first masterpiece.
Starting in September we can now offer daytime Watercolour painting classes for the complete beginner or the intermediate.
Join Chris Beesley as he demonstrates and takes you through the watercolour process including wet on wet, using candles, masking fluid, salt and many more techniques that watercolour has to offer. If you are a complete beginner or you just want to improve your artistic flair Chris can offer you the guidance and support in these structured but laid back style of classes.

The Bead Trail:
Beginners Jewellery Making
This course will give you a basic understanding of the techniques and components used to making ear rings, bracelets and necklaces.
This course will last approximately 2-3 hours and includes all materials and use of tools. At the end of the lesson you will take home a set of ear rings and matching bracelet.

Pearl & Charm Bracelet

Beginner’s Bead Weaving
The following courses (except the Christmas bauble) will concentrate on mastering the particular technique rather than completing a piece of jewellery. You will be experimenting with different variations of the stich and using different sized beads to explore designs. However you will leave with enough knowledge of the stitch to complete the project at home.

Christmas Cracker
Intermediate level, experience of Peyote stitch necessary. Using delicas you will learn how to create this miniature cracker and apply patterns working from a chart.

All classes need to be booked and paid for in advance of the course start date.
A minimum number of places must be filled before the class can run.
7 Days notice of cancellation is require in order that we can resell the workshop place. Less than 7 days notice may result in loss of course fee.
Refunds will only be given in the event of the course being cancelled due to insufficient number or tutor illness, and alternative date will be offered.
